Bio: member of the Yomiuri Giants from 1995-2005, and then went to play for the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters last season. He comes to America to play major league baseball along with fellow Japanese pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka. Both should make eachothers transition to American baseball much easier. Okajima will be the left handed specialist in the bullpen for the next two seasons, replacing Mike Myers from 2005, who presence was missed in the pen last season.
Projected 2007 Statistics: 3.30, 75, 10, 50
Fantasy Outlook: now that he's turned into one of our better middle relievers, having him isn't a bad idea. He'll get some holds, though probably not as many as say Timlin or Donnelly, though I wouldn't even rule that out. When Papelbon needs time off, Tito has proven that Okajima is his first option to fill in.
